Rev. Jessica Paulsen (she/her)

Pastor Jessica returned to her Iowa roots when she accepted the call to First Presbyterian Church in 2018. She grew up in the small town of Salix, Iowa and once accepting her call to ministry has always felt called to small town, small church ministry. She has a B.A. in English and Religion from Simpson College (2008) and received her Master of Divinity from Union Presbyterian Seminary (Richmond) in 2012. She previously served as pastor at Pickford Presbyterian Church in Pickford, Michigan. Pastor Jessica enjoys crocheting, reading, and spending time with her dog, Brownie. ​
